David Foster Lindelof

David F. Lindelof, 67, a longtime resident of Weymouth, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at the VA Healthcare Center in West Roxbury after a long period of failing health. He was the husband of Deborah A. Timmermann) Lindelof. Born and raised in Stoughton, he was the son of the late Herbert J. "Hub" and Mary (Foster) Lindelof. He was educated in Stoughton Schools and was a graduate of Stoughton High School where he was the Class President and a member of several sports teams. Mr. Lindelof was a Veteran of the US Air Force and served during the Vietnam Era. He worked for Bradlees as a forklift operator for many years, retiring several years ago. He was an avid fan of all Boston Sports and was a passionate and dedicated fan of the New England Patriots. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, traveling to Foxwoods and, above all, spending time with his 5 grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, George W. Bailey and his wife Jennifer of Weymouth and Denise E. McDonough and her husband Kieren of Braintree. He was the dedicated and loving grandfather of Jenna, Robert Joel, Camryn, Alora-Sara and Tyler. He was the brother of Joanna d'Entremont and her husband Earl of Eastham and the late Joel and Peter Lindelof. He is also survived by his sister in law Mary Lou Lindelof of NC and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday evening at 7PM. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the prayers from 4-7 PM.
