David Robert Kinlin of Sharon, formerly of Jamaica Plain, age 75, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021 after a long illness. He was the son of the late Anita (Newton) and George Kinlin. He was an Army Veteran who honorably served his country during the Vietnam conflict. Dave was a warm, caring person with a profound sense of humor and an infectious laugh that never failed to brighten a room. He would certainly leave all those around him laughing - whether they understood the joke or not. Dave was a long-time employee of the U.S. Postal Service. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed bowling and taking rides in his car.
Dave is survived by his son, Steven Kinlin of Sharon as well as Toni Roe and Cathy McKunes. He was also the beloved brother of the late Alice Healey and George T. Kinlin. He also leaves behind his nephew, Thomas Healey and his nieces, Barbara Healey and Kathleen Jones. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, November 24 from 11 AM – 12 PM followed by a Prayer Service at 12 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in David's memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
