David G. Donoghue, 48, died Monday, December 12, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after being stricken ill at his home. Born in Hyde Park, he was a longtime resident of Hyde Park and a graduate of Most Precious Blood School and Hyde Park High School. Mr. Donoghue was a resident of Stoughton and Canton.
He is survived by his children Brittney E. Donoghue, Timothy F. Donoghue and Brendan P. Donoghue all of Walpole; his parents Denis and Eileen F. (Harrington) Donoghue of Stoughton and his siblings, Denise K. Deziel and Ellen M. Magoon both of S. Easton, Michael J. Donoghue of TX, Patricia A. Snyder of Weymouth, Maureen T. Berardi and her husband William of Milton, Catherine M. Whitehouse and her husband Brian of Medway, Dennis C. Donoghue of Boston, Jean E. Desmond and her husband Gary of Canton and Karen J. Donoghue of Stoughton. He is also survived by his close friends Anne & Joanne, his former wife Lisa J. (Murphy) Donoghue of Walpole and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 15 from 8:30-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
