It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish, especially when least expected. Family and friends, it is now our time to say goodbye to our beloved Dave Bazil. A special date for us all to remember: Sunday, October 29, 2023, which is the day our cherished loved one has departed from this world. Dave can be remembered as one of the many strong Haitians born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, who came to the United States at a very young age and settled in Boston, Massachusetts. During his school age years, he attended City on a Hill High School and University of Massachusetts in Amherst and graduated in 2020.
Dave was beyond a hard worker; his most recent position was being a Client Service Representative for MFS in Boston for the past two years. Some of the many amazing attributes he will always be known for include, being extremely outgoing, adventurous, as well as his passion for food. Whether it was trying out new food spots, or being Gordan Ramsay in the kitchen. He was also a bookworm who loved sci-fi and nonfiction. You could hear him raving about a new book and how interesting the characters are. He faced his fears, learned to swim and fell in love with the water. He could swim for hours and hours if they let him. He was the best friend anyone could ask for. He would be supportive, loyal and a shoulder to cry on. He could call 8 people in one day just to check on them. Lastly, he would always say,” I love.” Furthermore, he was always there for his friends, and family. His contagious spirit, presence, and calming soul would always be there for us.
May God bless you all for coming here during this time, the bereavement is much appreciated and beyond acknowledged. We all know how much of a light bulb in a dark room Dave was in all of our lives. Now we must carry and treasure the light Dave has put upon us into this place we call the world. Thank you.
In loving memory, Dave the son of Ritza Turene of Brockton and the late Joseph Bazil and his two brothers Ritchy Reserve and Chris Saint Louis
