Daniel N. Anagnoston, Sr., 90, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton on Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was the husband of Marguerite (Green) Anagnoston for over 68 years. Son of the late Nicholas and Demetra, he was born in Canton and graduated from Canton High School in 1942. He was Foreman and Supervisor for Plymouth Rubber in Canton and served in the Army Air Force during World War II. Mr. Anagnoston was an active member of the American Legion Stoughton Post 89 and enjoyed bingo, camping in Maine, playing golf but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Anagnoston is survived by his children, Janice Urciuoli of Raynham, Carol Saley and her husband Earl of Hull, Daniel Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Stoughton and Gary and his wife Susan of Stoughton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, March 9 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
