Cynthia C. (Jones) Madden, 69, a resident of Middleboro, died unexpectedly at the Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth on Monday, April 20. She was the wife of 43 years of the late William J. Madden, Jr. Born and raised in Beverly, she was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1963 and the School of Cosmetology at Essex Agricultural School. She was a resident of Middleboro for the past 8 years after living in Stoughton for 33 years. Mrs. Madden was a real estate agent with Copperwood Realty in Stoughton for many years. She then worked as a case manager for Road to Responsibility in Weymouth, working with adults with disabilities for 7 years before retiring 5 years ago. She enjoyed bowling, spending time outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Madden is survived by her children, Pamela A. Madden and her husband Chad Roach of Bridgewater and Brian M. Madden of Middleboro, as well as her grandchildren, Neila Roach and Boston Madden. She was the sister of Deborah A. Jones Bunn of Westbrook, CT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, April 26 at 4 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 1-4 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cynthia's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
