Corrine M. Driscoll, 83, died Wednesday, February 27, at the Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL after a short period of failing health. She was the daughter of the late Frederick T. and Mary (Driscoll) Driscoll. Born and raised in Medford, she was a graduate of the Medford Schools. Miss Driscoll was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. She worked as a Senior Trust Officer for United California Bank in San Francisco for 27 years before her retirement in 1986. A resident of San Francisco for many years, she moved to Florida in 2002, settling in Seminole, FL. She was a volunteer for many organizations, Big Sisters of San Francisco, Home of Good Shepard, We Care Center, and Dept of Social Services. In her free time, she enjoyed email chatting with her nephews, nieces and friends, walking her dog and following the Oakland A's baseball team.
She is survived by her brother William Driscoll of Belmont, Ma. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Frederick J. "Ted" Driscoll. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford on Saturday, April 5 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Omitted. Donations in Corrine's memory may be made to MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, 02130.
