Concetta C. (Spagnuolo) Quintiliani, 97, a longtime resident of Braintree, died at Colonial Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Weymouth on Friday, August 29, 2014. She was the wife of the late Arnaldo J. Quintiliani. Born and raised in the North End of Boston, she was educated in Boston schools. She was a longtime resident of Quincy before moving to Braintree over 30 years ago. Mrs. Quintiliani worked in the meat department at Star Market in Quincy for over 30 years before retiring at age 80. She was a former parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church in Quincy. She enjoyed knitting, reading, walking and bowling into her 80's.
Mrs. Quintiliani was the mother of Arnold J. Quintiliani and his wife Jacqueline of Brockton and the late Gerald C. Quintiliani. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Patricia J. Quintiliani of Braintree. She was the grandmother of Anthony, Julianne, Janene and Tony Quintiliani and the great-grandmother of Siena Noel Quintiliani and Leo Thomas Quintiliani. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday from 4-6 PM. Funeral Services will be private.
