Claire M. Clark, 64, died at home in Raynham on Monday, November 12 after a period of failing health. Daughter of the late Paul F. and Louise (Senter) Clark, she was born and grew up in Stoughton. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1961 and Wrentham State School of Nursing. Miss Clark was a resident of Raynham for 21 years. She was a Nurse at Goddard Memorial Hospital in Stoughton for 25 years before retiring 15 years ago. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Miss Clark is survived by her daughters, Lisa L. Souza and her husband Al and Michelle M. Sweeney and her husband Chris both of Taunton and her grandchildren, Tyler and Mackenzie Souza and Brooke and Olivia Sweeney. She was the sister of Barbara Yonker of Brockton, William Clark and Carolyn McMakin both of Easton, Mary Clark of Taunton, Richard Clark of FL, Joseph Clark of Stoughton and the late Paul F. Clark, Jr., Robert Clark and Jean Durling. She was the longtime companion of the late Peter Faherty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, November 15 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.
