Christopher E. ?Buzz? Pernock, Sr. died Sunday, August 21, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Helen L. (LaSalle) Pernock. Born in South Boston, he was a graduate of South Boston Schools. He was a resident of Stoughton for over 53 years. Mr. Pernock worked as a supervisor for Chase & Son in Randolph for many years, retiring in 1991. After his retirement, he worked as a maintenance man for Compurex Systems in Taunton until 2010. In his free time, he enjoyed movies, traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his beautiful singing voice and loved to sing, especially songs from the 1940?s & 50?s. He was also an avid Bruins fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Carol A. Audlee and her husband David of Taunton, Christopher E. Pernock, Jr., and his wife Kathy of Easton and James T. Pernock and his wife Cathy of Stoughton. He was the stepfather of Sharyn Spector and her husband Danny of Northfield. He was the grandfather of Nicholas and Jeffrey Audlee, Kenneth, Kyle, Christina, Demitra, Cameron and Eric Pernock. He was the brother of Peggy Pernock and Paul Pernock both of Canton and the late Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Dry Pond Cemetery, Stoughton.
