Christopher W. Moore, 54, died Saturday, November 13 at the Brockton Hospital in Brockton after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Waltham, he attended Stoughton High School and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mr. Moore was a Veteran of the US Army. He worked as a Construction Supervisor and was self employed. He enjoyed construction and his work. In his free time, he enjoyed stamp collecting, coin collecting, reading and computers.
He is survived by his two daughters: Melanie A. Thompson of FL and Ja-da Brown of VT. He was the son of Marie F. (Ceurvels) Moore of Stoughton and the late Frederick W. Moore. Mr. Moore was the brother of James M. Moore and Judith A. Lloyd both of Stoughton, Theresa A. Theobald of Assonet and Catherine R. Lekberg of VT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his three grandchildren Ryan Hanscome, Cheyenne Thompson and Kierra Thompson.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, November 16, from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be private. Burial at VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
