Christine E. Psota

Christine E. (Marino) Psota, 49, a longtime resident of Easton, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Dorchester, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1982. She continued her education at Bridgewater State College and graduated in 1986 with a degree in Biochemistry. Mrs. Psota worked as an Infection Control Epidemiologist at Children's Hospital in Boston and at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, walking, shopping and, most of all, spending time with her daughter.
Mrs. Psota is survived by her beloved daughter, Alexandria L. Psota of Canton, her mother, Lena (Morganelli) Marino of Easton and her sister Lynne Chase of Weymouth. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Marino.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main St., Easton on Monday, August 4 at 12 Noon. Visiting hours and family gathering to celebrate Christine's life will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton prior to the mass from 9-11 AM. Interment will be private. Donations in Christine's memory may be made to the Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
