Christine L. Benoit Blanchette

Christine L. (Lanza) Benoit Blanchette, 47, died Saturday, December 10 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was the wife of Edward Blanchette. Born in Boston, she was a longtime resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton High School. She had been a resident of Nashua, NH for the past 7 years. Mrs. Blanchette was the office coordinator for Situation Management for the past 5 years. In her free time, she enjoyed ceramics, boating and spending time at her lake house.

In addition to her husband Edward, she is survived by her 3 sons: Peter C. Benoit of FL, Christopher R. Benoit and Richard F. Burns both of NH. She also leaves her parents: Barbara (Corbett) Chisholm of E. Wareham and Samuel Lanza of NV. She was the sister of Mike Lanza of NV, Beverly Blaine of Rockland, Robert Lanza of Clinton and Louise Davis of Hanson. She was the grandmother of Gianna and Blake Kolesnik and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 15, at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday, December 14 from 4-8 PM. Interment will be private.
