Christine A. (Coleman) Barrett

Christine A. (Coleman) Barrett, 68, a lifelong resident of Easton, died peacefully at Brockton Hospital on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. She was the wife of Arthur J. Barrett, Jr. for 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Richard P. and Margaret (Harlow) Coleman. She was born in Easton and graduated from Oliver Ames High School, Class of 1966. Chris was a bookkeeper at Ashmont Discount in Stoughton for 25 years. She enjoyed reading and traveling, especially to Aruba. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Chris is survived by her children, Scott D. Barrett and his wife Kathy of Taunton, Kristin M. Keller and her husband Robert of Lakeville and James M. Barrett and his wife Katie of Brockton, as well as her grandchildren, Joey, Brian, Alyssa, Jonathan, Nicholas, Cameron and Max and her great-grandchildren, Madison and Jordan. She was the sister of Thomas Coleman and his wife Julie and Mary Beth Coleman all of Easton. She also leaves her dog, Cookie and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, November 8 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Easton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton.
