Chris S. Valiente

Chris S. Valiente, 49, a resident of Sharon, died unexpectedly at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence on Friday, December 6. He was the husband of Rosemary (Smith) Valiente. Son of Dr. Crispin V. and Cristina (Sanchez) Valiente of Sharon, he was born in the Philippines. He was raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1984 and Massasoit Community College. Chris was a resident of Sharon for the past 8 years after living in Attleboro for several years. He was a mechanical engineer for Symmes Maini & McKee Associates in Cambridge. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid Patriots fan.

In addition to his wife and parents, Chris is survived by his children, Christopher and Kathleen Valiente both of Sharon. He was the brother of Carmela Barris and her husband Walter of Brockton, Cesar Valiente and his wife Jennifer of Somerset, Cedric Valiente and his wife Yvette of Maryland and Cecil Valiente of Sharon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 11 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 3-7 PM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
