Cheryl White Douglas, 64, died Saturday, May 10, at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Ralph Douglas, originally of West Bridgewater. Raised in Canton she lived in Stoughton for the last fifteen years. Mrs. White Douglas graduated from Canton High School, Bridgewater State College and received her Master's Degree in speech from Boston University. She worked as a speech pathologist at Lakeville Hospital and also for several nursing homes in the area. Mrs. White Douglas enjoyed being a Patriots fan, gardening, taking trips to the Cape, family outings, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. White Douglas is survived by her children David Douglas of Taunton and Carole Douglas Reis of Cranston, RI. She was the sister of Peter White of NH and Theodore White of VT. She is also survived by many loving relatives, including her six grandchildren and many dear friends.
Funeral service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, May 16 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
