Charlotte L. (Davidson) McQuarrie

Charlotte L. (Davidson) McQuarrie, 65, died unexpectedly Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She was a resident of Brockton since 1978. Along with her daughter, she ran a daycare out of her home for many years and was known as "Auntie" to the children. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, bird watching, vacationing in Ogunquit with her grandchildren and spending time at the beach.

Mrs. McQuarrie was the mother of Julie A. McQuarrie of Brockton and the devoted grandmother of Matthew and Emerson McQuarrie. She was the sister of Barbara Thomson and her late husband James of Quincy, Linda Paulicelli and her longtime companion Norbert Cebula of Hull and the late Paul McCarthy and Thomas Davidson. She was the sister in law of Brenda Davidson of NH. She was the former wife of Leo G. McQuarrie and his wife Jane and their daughter Gretchen Tondorf of Randolph. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will be private.
