Charles J. Maraglia, 70, died at home in Bridgewater on Wednesday, February 1 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Donna L. (Brown) Micchelli. Born and educated in Stoughton, Mr. Maraglia was a resident of Bridgewater for 3 years after living in Hanover for many years. Mr. Maraglia was an Auto Body Repairman at various area locations for many years before retiring 10 years ago. He was a member of the U.S. Reserve Military Police years ago. He was a member of the Easton Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Maraglia is survived by his stepdaughter, Christina Micchelli of Canton, his brother, Vincent Maraglia of Stoughton, his sister, Barbara Lombardi of Walpole and his goddaughters, Tammy Glass of Wareham and Victoria Lane of Attleboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karla Jean Bagtaz who died in the Station Nightclub Fire in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, February 6 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Donations in Charles' name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, 02368. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.
