Charles J. Jack Grant

Charles J. "Jack" Grant, Jr., 64, a former resident of Stoughton, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in California after a long illness. He was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mr. Grant was a Veteran of the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He served as a Heavy Equipment Operator and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1975. He was a resident of California for many years. Everyone who knew him was charmed with his smile, laugh and love of life.
Son of Mabel (Rogers) Grant Lucier of Las Vegas, NV and the late Charles J. Grant, Sr., he is survived by his children; Heather Grant, Mallory Grant and Cory Grant all of CA. He was the brother of Chester Grant, Christopher Grant, Channing Grant, Maryanna Latham and Mabel Maultsby all of NV, Jessica Denison of RI and Victoria O'Conner of CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his close and devoted friends, Don & Marilyn Pemplin.
Burial with military honors were held at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA on May 8th.
