Charles M. "Chuck" Bono, 66, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 14 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Ann-Marie (Jankun) Bono. Born in Chelsea, he was educated at Chelsea High School, Class of 1960. Mr. Bono was a Brockton resident for 4 years after living in Randolph for 22 years. He was a truck driver with the Teamsters Local 25 for over 30 years, driving for Stop & Shop in Readville before retiring in 2001. He was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed antique cars.
In addition to his wife, Ann-Marie, Mr. Bono is survived by his children, Terri A. Bono and Deborah A. Bono both of Brockton, Michael S. Bono of Stoughton and Dawn M. Fortuna of Canton. He was the grandfather of Michelle, Michael, James, Tyler, Madison and the late Jessica. He was the brother of Thomas Bono of FL and Daniel W. Bono of NH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, May 17 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Donations in Chuck's name may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
