Charles H. Blair

Charles H. Blair, Sr., 68, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at CareOne at Randolph on Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was the husband of the late Patricia A. (Callahan) Blair. Son of the late Hugh and Beatrice V. (Kasper) Blair, he was born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park. Charles was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. Charles was a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a resident of Stoughton for 40 years. He worked for Garber Brothers in Stoughton for over 20 years before retiring in 2013. In his free time, he enjoyed greyhound races.

Charles is survived by his son, Charles H. "Chuck" Blair, Jr. of Stoughton. He was the brother of Patricia A. Blair of Stoughton, James F. Blair of Milford and Robert F. Blair of Blackstone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Charles' memory may be made to the National Stroke Assn., 9707 E. Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112.
