Celia C. Madonna

Celia C. (Darling) Madonna, 88, a longtime resident of Sharon, died peacefully at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Peter Madonna. Born in Dedham, she was a resident of Sharon since 1955. Celia was a teacher's aide with Sharon Public Schools for over 10 years before retiring 30 years ago. She loved taking care of children.

Mrs. Madonna is survived by her children, Peter M. Madonna of Sharon and Marianne Barnes and her husband Richard of North Attleboro, as well as her grandchildren, Richard Barnes, Jr. and Allison Barnes and her great-grandchildren, Aiden and Zoey Barnes and Hunter and Layla Stewart.

Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, September 26 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sharon at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 5-8 PM. Donations in Celia's memory may be made to Madonna Manor, 85 North Washington St., North Attleboro, MA 02760.
