Ceasar G. Perry, Jr., 84, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Monday, October 12, 2009, at the Embassy House in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born in East Taunton, he moved to Stoughton at age 6 and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Mr. Perry worked as a shipper for Plymouth Rubber for many years, retiring at age 65. He also was a volunteer for the Brockton VA Hospital for over 10 years. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football.
He was the brother of the late Mary Diaz, Manuel Perry and Arimenda "Lee" Perfetuo. He was the uncle of Mary Ann Hill, Elaine Landolfi, Lydia Vogel, Wayne Perry, Francis Perfetuo, Joseph Perfetuo and Gary Perfetuo. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, October 15 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at VA National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:15 AM. Due to floral regulations at the cemetery, the family has asked that donations in Ceasar's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 187 Columbus Ave, Boston 02116.
