Cathryn M. (Techiera) Miller, 65, died Saturday, December 17, at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence after a short period of failing health. She was the Beloved Wife of 46 years of Alan K. Miller of Brockton. Born in Brockton, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1969. She also graduated from Southeastern Regional as a Medical Transcriptionist. Mrs Miller was a resident of Brockton since 1970. She worked for over 25 years in the Accounts Payable/Invoice departments at Reebok in Canton and previously at Jordan Marsh in Brockton. She also worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for many years at Good Samaritan Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, cooking and spending time with her family and her 3 granddaughters.
In addition to her husband, Cathi is survived by her four sons; Matthew M. Miller and his wife Cristina, Ryan T. Miller and is wife Danielle all of Foxboro, Kevin M. Miller of Brockton and Paul A. Miller and his longtime girlfriend Dionne of Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of Tony Techiera of Stoughton and the late C. Winifred (Taylor) Techiera. Mrs. Miller was the sister of Phillip T. Techeira of Brockton and Amy Ginnetty of Stoughton and the aunt of Holly Gillespie, Mark Godek and Kimberly Godek. She is also survived by her 3 special cousins Judy Burge of NC, Beth Ducker of Houston, TX, and Johnny Techiera of Hyde Park, MA and her three beloved granddaughters, Asa, Elyse and Charlotte Miller.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton, on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Burial will follow the Mass at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Cathi's name may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P. O.
