Catherine A. Warren

Catherine A. (Schlaich) Warren, a longtime resident of Sharon, died Wednesday Morning, July 23, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late James C. Warren. Born in Boston, she was raised in Roxbury and was a graduate of Holy Trinity High School in Roxbury. She also attended several courses through Harvard Extension School. An Executive Assistant, she worked for Keystone Camera in Dorchester for many years before working for Gillette in South Boston for over 20 years. She retired at age 65. She was a member of the Celine Club. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, bowling and horseback riding.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her three sisters, Florence Burgholzer, Bertha Rettman and Martha Rettman. She is survived by 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass to be held in the Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 59 Cottage St., Sharon at 10 AM. Donations in Catherine's name may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 51 Blossom St., Boston, 02114. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
