Catherine F. "Kay" (Nesdale) Lingley

Catherine F. "Kay" (Nesdale) Lingley, 92, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the SouthEast Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Easton after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of the late William H. "Harry" Lingley. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in St. Mark's Parish section of Dorchester and was a graduate of Dorchester Schools. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 65 years and was a longtime winter resident of Clearwater, FL. Mrs. Lingley was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She also worked at Shaw's in Canton for over 30 years, retiring many years ago. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and playing cribbage.

Mrs. Lingley is survived by her three daughters: Joan M. Bowker and her husband Christopher of Marshfield, Patricia J. Reddington of Boston and Catherine Rudolph and her husband William of W. Bridgewater. She was the sister of Mary C. Ambrose of Danvers and the late Joanne C. McGrail and Timothy J. Nesdale. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, October 11 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Kay's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
