Catherine J. (Davis) Isbitsky, age 67, passed away peacefully at New England Sinai Hospital on December 2, 2022. She was the daughter to the late Barbara Mae (Martin) and Joseph F. Davis, and was the loving wife to the late Joseph J. Isbitsky. Born and raised in Boston, she graduated from Roslindale High School in 1974. She was a long-time resident of Stoughton before moving to Easton in her later years. She was an employee of Stoughton Public Schools, working in the school kitchen as a cafeteria worker for over 20 years, retiring in 2014. An athlete, she was a member of several different softball teams and bowling leagues over the years. She was a Boston Red Sox, Bruins, and New England Patriots fan and loved animals. Above all, she loved spending time with her siblings, children, friends, and was devoted to her family.
Catherine is survived by her children Adam Isbitsky and his husband David C. Clark of Andover, and Amanda J. Johnston and her wife Kathleen Johnston of Connecticut, as well as her step-children Holly Boykin and her husband Bill of Ohio and Julie McLaughlin of Brockton. She also leaves behind her siblings Joseph Davis, John Davis, Francis Davis, James Davis, Elizabeth Rafferty, Barbara Bernard, Thomas Davis, Margaret “Suzy” Keenan, Ann Beck, Charles Musto, and was predeceased by her sisters Mary Turilli and Patricia Davis. She is also survived by 3 grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt.27), Stoughton on Thursday December 8th from 4-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held the next day, Friday December 9th at First Congregational Church, 76 Pierce Street in Stoughton at 10AM. Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Catherine’s memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation of New England, 290 W Boylston St Suite 60676, Worcester, MA 01606.
