Carol A. (Pearl) Weineck-Griffiths, age 88, passed away peacefully at All American Assisted Living in Raynham on March 22, 2025. She was preceded in death by her late husband Ernest R. “Ernie” Weineck, Sr., for over 35 years who passed in 1999, and her second late husband Kenneth Griffiths. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Pearl and Marion A. (Morse) Pearl and was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain. She was a long-time resident of Stoughton where she and Ernie raised their children and shared a beautiful life with many memories. She worked as a Manager at Milton Savings Bank, head bookkeeper at Westwood School Department, and was a Secretary at First Parish of Stoughton for many years. Carol was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Church and enjoyed volunteering for the Town of Stoughton during public election seasons. She was affiliated with many organizations such as the Council on Aging, Friends for Seniors, and Professional Women’s Club. She enjoyed many trips with these Senior Groups, many of which included going to the casino and admiring the foliage in New Hampshire. Carol enjoyed a nice glass of sweet wine, going on cruises with her friends, baking and knitting. Above all, she adored spending time with her family, especially during the holidays where she loved spoiling her grandchildren. She had a warm spirit, a big heart and an infectious laugh that will be missed dearly.
Carol is survived by her son Ernest R. “Chip” Weineck, Jr., and his wife Laurie of Raynham, and was predeceased by her children Thomas, Timothy and Richard Weineck. She was the “Nanny” to 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Monday March 31st from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held the next day, Tuesday April 1st at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton at 10:30 AM.
