Carol L. Ray

Carol L. (Bishop) Ray, 62, died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, July 15 after a period of failing health. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mertie (Davis) Bishop. Born and educated in Stoughton, she was a resident of Stoughton for 58 years. Ms. Ray was a Nurse at the Bridgewater-Goddard Park Medical offices in Brockton, Bridgewater and Raynham for 15 years and was also Director at the Bridgewater office. Before that she was an Emergency Room Nurse at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton for over 20 years.

Ms. Ray is survived by her son, Scott Ray of Stoughton; her granddaughters, Toni Lee Ray and Chelsie Marie Ray; her brother, Arthur Bishop, Jr. of FL and her sister, Lorraine Thorn of MS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bishop.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, July 19 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in Carol's name may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
