Carol A. Daley

Carol A. Daley, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School. She was also a graduate of Children's Hospital School of Nursing in Boston. Ms. Daley worked as a Registered Nurse at Children's Hospital in Boston, retiring after many years on the Leukemia Ward. She befriended many patient's families whom she kept in contact with for the rest of her life. After her retirement, she worked at Partners Health Care in Cambridge for several years. She enjoyed photography and making greeting cards to support Cancer patients. She was a proud cancer survivor and former patient of the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and her many friends.

Daughter of the late Edmund and Helen E. (Lafferty) Daley, she is survived by her brother Brian R. Daley of Stoughton, family, and many caring friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. James Church, 560 Page St., Stoughton on Wednesday at 12:30 PM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Church prior to the Mass from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Carol's memory may be made to the Children's Hospital, 401 Park Dr, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215 or the Good Samaritan Medical Center Oncology Dept., 235 N. Pearl St., Brockton, MA 02301.
