Carol A. "Sis" (Cronin) Boucher, 74, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Jon W. Galpin and Joseph R. Boucher, Sr. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Mission Hill and was a graduate of Mission High School in Roxbury. Mrs. Boucher was a resident of Stoughton for the past 50 years. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother who enjoyed going to the Sons of Italy for their Friday Night Dinners. In her free time, she enjoyed cross stitching, puzzles and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Joseph R. Boucher, Jr. and Carol A. Boucher and her longtime boyfriend Carmen Zanghi all of Stoughton, Christine M. Chapman of Cape Cod, and Donna M. Ceruti of Holbrook. She was the only sister of Richard Cronin of Roslindale, Edward Cronin of Brockton and the late Francis "Butch" Cronin, Joseph Cronin and Robert Scales. She was predeceased by her infant twins Carolyn and Theresa Boucher. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at the Mission Church, 1545 Tremont St., Mission Hill, Boston at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-8 PM. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
