Carol Ann Bailey Rink, 57, a resident of Lake Park, FL, died peacefully at home on Thursday, February 2, 2017. She was the wife of Alvin R. Rink. Daughter of Josephine J. (Garaffo) Bailey of Stoughton and the late Frank P. Bailey, she was born in Boston. She was raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1977 and also earned an associate degree from a Veterinary School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was a resident of Easton for 10 years before moving to Florida in 2002. Along with her husband, Carol co-owned Alvin Rink Kennels in Raynham for 15 years before retiring in 2010. An avid animal lover, she also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
In addition to her husband and her mother, she was the mother of John F. Englehart and his wife Kate of Easton and the late Matthew K. Englehart. She was the sister of Steven F. Bailey of Middleboro, John T. Bailey of Sharon and Jane M. Bailey McCormick of Stoughton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, February 11 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday, February 10 from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton in the spring.
