Carmella C. DePasqua

Carmella C. (Spinale) DePasqua, 89, died peacefully at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport on Wednesday, October 2. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. DePasqua. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Medford. Mrs. DePasqua was a resident of Brockton for 50 years before moving to Newburyport 5 years ago. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. DePasqua is survived by her children, Robert J. DePasqua and his wife Virginia of Newburyport and Maryanne L. Young and her husband Bruce of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Michelle Hastings, Anthony DePasqua, Melissa Magnussen, Elizabeth Marks and Leslie Lemieux. She was the sister of Frances Celino of Florida, Joseph Spinale of Franklin and the late Frank Spinale, Lee Catizone and Theresa Marquardo. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, October 19 at 11 AM. Visitation prior from 10-11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carmella's memory may be made to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
