Carlos A. Oliveira

Carlos A. Oliveira, 44, a resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Sunday, October 9, 2016 after suffering a heart attack. Son of Maria A. (Arruda) Oliveira of North Easton and the late Manuel C. Oliveira, he was born in São Miguel, Azores, Portugal before moving to Stoughton in 1974. He lived in Stoughton for 25 years before moving to Taunton, where he resided for 15 years until moving back to Stoughton 8 months ago. Carlos was a parts manager at Central Dodge in Raynham for many years then Walpole Mitsubishi for 6 years. A member of G-Body of New England Car Club, he loved cars and music, but his greatest joy was spending time with his daughter.

In addition to his mother, Carlos is survived by his daughter, Leila E. Oliveira of West Bridgewater, as well as his siblings, Edwina Hoeg of East Taunton, Ludovina O. Kavka and her husband Karl of North Easton and Jose A. Oliveira and his wife Aurelia of Stoughton. He is also survived by his nephews, Chris and Jordon Oliveira and Joshua Hoeg, as well as many cousins and friends.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, October 14 at 11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 12 PM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM. Interment will be private.
