Carl D. Costa, 32, died at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, September 26 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Carlos M. and Genevieve M. (Pelletier) Costa of Stoughton. A lifelong resident of Stoughton, he was educated in Stoughton schools and attended Massasoit Community College. He was a meat clerk at Shaw's Supermarket in Stoughton for 14 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and jet skiing.
In addition to his parents, Carl is survived by his sister, Elizabeth M. Chadwick and her husband Nathan of Plymouth. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, September 30 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Carl's name may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Pl.
