Caitlyn M. O'Connell

Caitlyn M. O'Connell, 28, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 23. Born in and raised in Stoughton, she was a 2007 graduate of Stoughton High School. She worked as a waitress at Friendly's since 2013 and previously worked as a Medical Assistant at Granite Medical in Quincy. In her free time, Caitlyn enjoyed photography, reading, crafts and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her beloved son Caleb.

She is survived by her son Caleb C. Shea of Stoughton. She was the beloved daughter of Kevin R. O'Connell and his wife Carol J. (Feeney) O'Connell of Stoughton and the late Kyle E. (Colby) Mahler. She was the sister of Ashlyn D. O'Connell and Riley M. O'Connell both of Stoughton. Caitlyn was the cherished granddaughter of Deanna M. O'Connell of NY and the late Roger H. O'Connell, Betty Ann Colby, Mason Colby and Margaret L."Minnie" Feeney. She is also survived by the father of her son, Timothy J. Shea of Stoughton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, April 28 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will be private. Donations in Caitlyn's memory may be made to the Caleb Shea Fund, PO Box 93, Stoughton, MA 02072.
