C. Charles Rendino

C. Charles Rendino, 85, died peacefully Saturday August 16, with his sharp wit intact and his family by his side at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the Romantic Husband of Marina (Scarponi) for over 59 years. Born in Garfield, NJ in 1923, he was the youngest of 9 children and was educated in Garfield Schools. He was fortunate enough to skip 3 grades. Mr. Rendino was a WWII Veteran of the US Army where he was a Staff Sergeant for 343rd Infantry, Black Hawk Division. He earned his BS Degree from Southeastern Massachusetts University in Engineering and his MBA Degree in Marketing and Business from Northeastern University. He worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at General Electric, Gulf and Western Energy Products Group, Krohne America. Mr. Rendino was the holder of various U.S. Patents. He was a man rich in his outlook on life. He was a lover of laughter, good food and wine, traveling and bird watching.

In addition to his beloved wife Marina, he is survived by his beloved children Alyssa Mickle of Wellesley and Paula Rendino Zaentz of Newton. He was the fun grandfather of 3 happy grandchildren. His love of life, sparkling sense of humor and steadfastness is what his family will miss the most.

Memorial services will be announced. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
