Burnet N. Williams, 60, died Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of 30 years of Loretta R. (Williams) Williams. Born and raised in Tortola, BVI, he came to the United States in 1980 and settled in Dorchester. He was a resident of Stoughton for over 30 years. Mr. Williams worked as a carpenter for many years and was a skilled woodworker. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, listening to Bob Marley music and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Joseph B. Williams and Breanna N. Williams both of Stoughton. He was the brother of Bennett Nicholas and Devon Dawson both of Tortola, Harriette Wilkins and Helen Stevens both of Florida, Brenda Smith of St. Thomas USVI and the late Roney Williams, Tony Williams and Bernard Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 10 from 4-7 PM with Funeral Prayers following at 7 PM. Donations in Burnet's memory may be made to his wife, Loretta Williams c/o Farley Funeral Home, PO Box 93, Stoughton, MA 02072.
