Bruce W. "Skip" Bohnwagner, 69, a longtime resident of Canton, died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Friday, October 4. He was the husband of Maureen (Brown) Morrison-Bohnwagner. Born in Hartford, CT, he was raised in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1963. He was a resident of Canton for 30 years. Mr. Bohnwagner was a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the D.A.V. and a lifetime member of both the New England Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans and the American Wheelchair Bowling Association. He enjoyed bowling, wheelchair sports and woodworking and was a fan of the Patriots and Red Sox.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Bohnwagner is survived by his step-sons, Joshua P. Morrison and his wife Tara of East Bridgewater and Toby J. Morrison and his girlfriend Helena Keeney of Alaska, as well as his grandson, Xander Stephenson.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, October 11 at 9:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
