Bronie J. (Kwedor) Truczinskas, 101, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mrs. Truczinskas worked in several restaurants in Stoughton over the years, including as a hostess at Albert's Restaurant, a waitress at the Town Spa and as a cashier at the Stoughton Diner. She was a member of the Lithuanian Hall in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping.
Mrs. Truczinzkas was the mother of Robert A. Truczinzkas and his wife Geraldine of VT and the late Richard J. Truczinskas. She was the grandmother of Kimberly Strang and her husband Carl and the late Michael Truzinskas. Bronie was the sister of the late Julius Kwedor and Alfonse Kwedor. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton prior to the Mass from 8:30-9:30 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Bronie's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
