Brendan R. McGaffigan, 35, died April 30, 2022, after succumbing to injuries suffered in a car accident. Born in Stoughton, he was raised in Halifax and was a 2005 graduate of Silver Lake High School. He was a resident of Carver for the past 3 years. Brendan worked as a Landscaper for several years, and loved to take care of his home. He was a kind and humble man whose smile could light up a room. He was a proud freshwater fisherman who enjoyed spending time outside around a firepit with friends, snowboarding and wakeboarding.
Brendan is survived by his parents, William J. McGaffigan, Jr. of Carver and Maria (Morey) Maynard and her husband Brian of Raynham. He was the brother of Kelsey A. McGaffigan of Carver and was the stepbrother of Brian, Kayla and Lee Maynard. He was predeceased by his grandparents, William J. McGaffigan Sr., Ann C. McGaffigan, Richard Morey, Jennie Allen and Harold Allen and is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Brendan's memory may be made to St. Jude's Shrine, 308 N. Paca St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
