Brenda D. (Jacobs) Falandys

Brenda D. (Jacobs) Falandys, 77, died peacefully at her home in Kingston on Thursday, October 24, 2024 surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Middleboro, she was raised and educated in Brockton and attended Brockton Schools. Mrs. Falandys raised her family in Stoughton and later moved to Brockton before moving to Kingston 3 years ago. She worked for Instron in Canton as an Electronics Assembler for over 30 years, retiring at age 62. Brenda was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved shopping for her grandkids on QVC. Her most cherished times were spent surrounded by her beloved family.

Brenda is survived by her two sons, Leonard A. Jacobs and his wife Carol of Kingston and Jeff S. Falandys and his wife Valerie of Brockton. She was the loving Gram of Heather Jacobs and her wife Megan, Megan Jacobs-Carta and her wife Meghan, Mitchell Jacobs and his wife Tessa, Jordan Falandys and Justin Falandys. She was the sister of Cynthia Carreiro and Herbert Jacobs both of VT and Raymond Jacobs of Plymouth. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 10AM-12PM followed by Funeral Prayers at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, POB 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
