Blanche N. (Page) Sellars, 87, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, February 7, at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Sellars. Born in Quincy, she moved to Stoughton as a young girl and was raised and educated in Stoughton. She was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mrs. Sellars raised her family in Stoughton and was a dedicated homemaker. Upon her retirement, she moved to Tavares, FL for many years, and moved back to Stoughton 10 years ago. An avid fan of the Red Sox, in her free time, she enjoyed knitting, watching TV, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
She was the mother of Michael H. Sellars of Franklin, Patti J. Casserly and her husband John of Stoughton, Thomas J. Sellars and his wife Nancy of Randolph and the late Norrine M. Southworth, Jennifer L. Higgins and Kevin Card Sellars. She was the sister of Paula Hodge of CA and the late Robert Page and Paul Page. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, February 13, at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to the service from 9-11 AM. Donations in Blanche's memory may be made to the Stoughton Visiting Nurses Association, 10 Pearl St, Stoughton, 02072.
