Beverley A. Stephansky

Beverley A. (Gallagher) Stephansky, 71, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of 51 years of Robert L. Stephansky. Born and raised in Portsmouth, NH, she was a resident of Stoughton since 1967. Beverley was a piano teacher for 34 years before retiring 15 years ago. Her life revolved around her family, friends and music.
In addition to her husband, Beverley was the mother of David A. Stephansky and his wife Linda of Stoughton, Kathleen D. Perez and her husband Ernie of Stuart, FL and Joyce A. Stephansky of Alexandria, VA and her late husband Brian Powilatis. She was grandmother of Robert B. Stephansky, Jillian M. Stephansky, Benjamin R. Powilatis and Camille K. Powilatis. She was the sister of Elaine Rodriguez of Texas, Patricia Garland and Fred Gallagher both of New Hampshire and Jonathan Gallagher of Nevada and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held from the First Parish Universalist Church, 790 Washington St., Stoughton on Saturday, October 31 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beverley's memory may be made to Simple Changes, PO Box 991, Lorton, VA 22199.
