Bernice R. Farrell

Bernice R. (Vaughan) Farrell, born in Boston on April 16, 1935 to Ida R. (Meier) and Frederick T. Vaughan, died at home in East Falmouth on Monday, June 6. Bernice grew up in Dorchester and was educated in Boston schools. She met her husband Robert E. Farrell on Cape Cod and married in 1956. They lived in Stoughton while summering at Popponesset. In 1974 they made Mashpee their home and Bernice continued her career of caring for others. She was predeceased by Bob in 1983. In 2005, she moved to East Falmouth. Bernice loved her daughter Linda, the beach, gardening and her dogs.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Linda J. Trenoweth and her husband Charles of East Falmouth and her beloved pet Rudy "Rody." She was the sister-in-law of Elizabeth Farrell of PA and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, June 9 at 11 AM. Visitation prior from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in Bernice's name may be made to the charity of your choice.
