Barbara A. (Sullivan) Peters, of Stoughton, passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday afternoon, May 6, after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Peters and beloved companion of Donald Peters of Stoughton. She is survived by her children, Edward Peters, Jr., Gerald "Jay" Peters and Diane Peters all of Stoughton and Lorraine White of Concord, NH. She was a loving Nana to her 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Barbara will be remembered for her strength, her laughter and the joy she shared in the company of her friends and family.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, May 9 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
