Barbara L. (Deckwar) Milano, 73, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, September 4, 2014. She was the wife of the late Edward Milano. Daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Eder) Deckwar, she was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She resided in Stoughton for the past 45 years. Mrs. Milano was an accounts payable clerk at Brookfield Engineering in Middleboro for 20 years before retiring in January, 2014. A dedicated wife and mother, her greatest love was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Milano is survived by her children, Edward M. Milano and his wife Virginia of Norfolk, Lisa A. Panacy and her husband Brian of Stoughton and Bonnie Gervais and her husband Phil of Medway. She was the sister of Joan Holland of Baltimore, MD and the late Joseph "Butch" Deckwar. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, September 9 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Barbara's memory may be sent to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
