Barbara A. Large

Barbara A. (Nash) Large, 68, died Saturday, August 22, at her home after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of 39 years of William F. "Billy" Large. Born in Boston, daughter of Dorothy (Adahall) Nash of SC and the late Lawrence Nash, she was raised in Jamaica Plain and New Jersey. Mrs. Large was a longtime resident of Manchester, NH and previously lived in Stoughton for over 20 years. She worked as a Food Service Worker at the Veterans Administration in Manchester, NH for many years, retiring several years ago. She was a life member of the Halcyon Club in Derry, NH and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Londonderry, NH. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Nash was the mother of Lisa Salamone Revelle of Stoughton, Billie Jean Hallee and her husband Eric of NH and the late Michelle Lee Salamone and Kerrie-Ann Large. She was the sister of Jean Nash Cummings of ME, Linda Nash and Loretta Nash both of SC, Mary Nash Trilli of MI and the late James Nash and Edward Nash. She was the sister in law and best friend of Susan Large Crowley of Stoughton. She was also the sister in law of Stephen P. Large, Patrick "Dennis" Large, and John W. Satkiewicz all of Stoughton, Donna J. O'Brien of Brockton, Joseph C. Large of IA, Terri Ibbitson of NY, Patrick T. Large of NJ and Evelyn St. Germain of Bridgewater. She was the daughter in law of Carol A. Large of Stoughton and the late Patrick B. Large. Barbara is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
