Barbara W. (Watkins) Kimball, 93, a resident of Norton, died at the Epoch of Norton on Tuesday, February 11. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Kimball. Daughter of the late Thomas W. and Carlena P. (Prescott) Watkins, she was born in Newton. Mrs. Kimball was a graduate of Arms Academy, Class of 1938 in Shelburne Falls and Wheaton College, Class of 1943. She was a resident of Norton for the past 7 years after living in Sharon for 60 years. She was a homemaker and also taught Biology at Wheaton College. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Sharon. Barbara was an avid animal lover and Red Sox fan. She also enjoyed traveling worldwide and skiing.
Mrs. Kimball was the sister of the late Thomas P. Watkins and his wife Annie. She was the aunt of Elizabeth A. Watkins of Mansfield and Thomas W. Watkins of Plainville. She is also survived by her great-nieces, Amy, Lisa and Sarah and her great-nephew, Greg.
A Memorial Service will be held from the First Congregational Church of Sharon, 29 N. Main St., Sharon, MA 02067 on Saturday, February 22 at 1 PM.
