Barbara A. (Kelley) Fowler, 67, died Sunday, April 27 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Deputy Chief, James H. Fowler, Stoughton FD. Born in Boston, she was educated in Sharon schools. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years. Mrs. Fowler was a homemaker. She was also a manager at Newport Fabrics in Canton for several years and later worked as a clerk at Walgreen's in Stoughton. She was a bank teller in Boston many years ago. In her free time she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by her children, Donna M. Kilday, Deborah A. Hubler and Peter H. Fowler all of Stoughton and Paul J. Fowler of Easton. She was the sister of Dottie Bullock of NY, Helen Kelley of Easton, Arthur and Robert Kelley both of Foxboro and the late William Kelley. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, 2 sons-in-law and 1 daughter-in-law.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, April 30 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Barbara's memory may be sent to Alzheimer's Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
